Your Record

Each Dearborn Public Library has On-line Public Access Computers (OPAC) available. These computers are used to locate items in the Dearborn Public Library system. With your library card barcode and PIN you can:

• View and print out a list of items you have checked out and their due dates.

• Look at the basic information in your record and check its accuracy.

• Check when your library card is due to be updated.

• Change your PIN to whatever number you prefer.

• Look at the items you have on hold and see where you are on the waiting list.

• Place a hold on an item that is checked out or available at another library building. The library will contact you when the title is available for you.

• Renew any material you have checked out on your card, unless there is a waiting list.
